Cincinnati Reds beat the New York Yankees by the score of 13 to 10.

New York never recovered after Cincinnati took the lead in the 5th inning when
they scored 2 runs on 2 hits.  The crucial at-bat was provided by Dutch
Leonard who thrilled the crowd when he laced a single plating two runs.
Cincinnati had 11 hits for the night.  

Leonard(1-2) was the winner allowing 1 run in 4 innings. Satchel Paige
