Tip O'Neill knocked 3 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the St. Louis Browns outscored

O'Neill was unconscious out there. While Louisville pitching was serving
softballs up there for him to hit, the Louisville fans were serving up some
hardball barbs when he entered the batter's box. But he just used it as fuel
for the fire. He popped a two-run clout over the fence in the 1st inning,
ripped a solo home run in the 3rd inning and delivered a solo blast in the
7th inning. St. Louis had a total of 12 hits for the game.
Clark Griffith(2-0) picked up the victory, allowing 2 runs in 8 innings. The
losing pitcher was Red Ehret(1-3). He surrended 4 homeruns in his 8 and 2/3
innings.
'The ball was jumping off my bat' O'Neill said. 'I didn't do anything
differently, it's the same way I always approach the game.'
