Bob Ewing blanked Pittsburg in a very well-pitched complete game and Hans
Lobert had 2 base hits and 2 RBI as the Cincinnati Reds defeated the
Pittsburg Pirates 3 to 0 at Palace of the Fans.

Ewing(1-1) had a strong outing.  He was stingy on the mound, allowing just 7
hits and 1 walk in 9 innings dropping his ERA from 4.00 to 2.00.  Cincinnati
had 9 hits for the afternoon.
