The Fans as the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Cincinnati Reds by the count of

St. Louis brought 2 runs across the plate in the top of the 5th inning when
they came up with 4 base hits.  The critical plate appearance was by Evans
who deflated the crowd as he stroked a single bringing in two baserunners.
St. Louis dominated offensively as they scored in 6 different innings.
