WEB GEMS- Bot 5th: Dode Paskert robbed Wilbur Good of a Homerun!

Buck Herzog smacked 2 homeruns and had 6 RBI as the Boston Rustlers outscored
the Philadelphia Phillies 8 to 4.

It seemed that Philadelphia pitching was serving up softballs for Herzog to
hit. He rifled a three-run blast in the 3rd inning and lofted a three-run
bomb in the 8th inning. Boston rapped out 9 hits for the afternoon.

The winning pitcher was Buster Brown(2-0) who allowed 4 runs in 7 innings.
Brown got help from Patsy Flaherty who earned his 1st save. Fred Beebe(0-1)
absorbed the loss.
