separated the combatants at game's end. The Cleveland Indians won by the
slimmest of margins, 3 to 2.
Cleveland did all of it's offensive work in the 1st inning when they scored 3
runs on 4 hits. That early scoring was all that Mickey McDermott(2-0)
needed. The pitchers took over after the 1st inning as neither team was able
to score again.
