Dean Stone(2-0) was solid if not spectacular.  He went 7 and 1/3 innings

Philadelphia-AL threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short.  

Jim Davis earned the save, his 2nd.  Mike Garcia(2-1) ended up with the loss.
