Duffee had a big day at the plate. He laced a one-base hit which scored a run in the 2nd inning, laced a base-knock in the 4th inning, hit a bases-empty home run in the 6th inning and smashed a two-run homer in the 7th inning. St. Louis rapped out 15 hits for the afternoon. Chamberlain(2-0) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 3 runs. The loss was charged to Jesse Duryea(0-1). 'I was in my hotel room the other night, working on my swing and made some adjustments,' Duffee said. 'I'm always working on it. If they are getting you out certain ways, you've got to make changes.'
