Red McKee had 2 base hits and Hooks Dauss pitched a complete game as the
Detroit Tigers bested the Chicago White Sox in 10 innings 5 to 4 at Navin
Field.

Both teams had scored 4 runs after nine full innings.  Detroit ended up
winning it in the 10th inning.  Ossie Vitt delivered a single.  McKee stepped
up to the plate and he stroked a single.  George Burns then hit a single
giving Detroit the win and sending the home town fans into a frenzy.  Detroit
totaled 12 hits on the afternoon.  

The victory went to Dauss(2-0) who went the distance allowing 4 runs. Eddie
Cicotte(0-1) was tagged with the loss.  He was hit hard and gave up 12 hits
and 7 walks in 9 innings.  

In another of a string of victories, Detroit extended their winning streak to
6 games. 'We're on quite a roll lately' said Hughie Jennings.  'I just hope
we can keep it going.'
