Vean Gregg went the distance as the Cleveland Naps topped the Detroit Tigers
by a score of 5 to 2 at Navin Field.

Cleveland went ahead for good in the top of the 7th inning scoring 2 runs on 2
hits.  After an out was recorded, Nap Lajoie began the rally when he reached
on an error.  Lajoie was safe at second on a stolen base.  After another out,
Jack Graney then hit a single scoring a run.  Cleveland continued their
aggressive style with another stolen base.  Fred Carisch came up to bat and
laced a base-knock, and an error was also committed, scoring the final run of
the inning.  Cleveland managed 8 hits in their victory.  

Gregg(3-1) lasted until the end allowing 2 runs for the win. Jean Dubuc(2-1)
was tagged with the loss.  He pitched 7 innings allowing 6 hits and no walks.
