Pittsburgh came through with the game-winning runs in the bottom of the 8th
inning when they tallied 5 runs on 4 hits.  Kansas City went down quietly in
the 9th.  

Jack Harshman(3-0) picked up the victory, allowing 2 runs in 2 innings. Jim
Konstanty got the save, his 2nd.  Frank Lary(2-3) was the loser in relief.
