WEB GEMS- Bot 1st: Mickey Doolin robbed Bert Tooley of a base hit.

Mickey Doolin jacked one out of the ballyard and had 2 RBI as the Philadelphia
Phillies bested the Brooklyn Superbas in 10 innings 6 to 5 at Washington
Park.

The score was tied at 5 after nine. Philadelphia won the game in the 10th
inning. Fred Luderus ripped a base-knock. Doolin stepped up to the plate
and he reached on an error. Red Dooin then worked the squeeze play to
perfection scoring the run. The score went back-and-forth with the lead
changing 5 times.

The win went to Ad Brennan(2-1) who allowed no runs in 2 innings. The loss was
charged to Elmer Knetzer(0-2) in relief. He was a hard-luck loser as he did
not allow an earned run in his 1 inning of work.
