Silver King completed the game without help from the bullpen and right fielder
Dave Foutz had 4 hits and scored 3 times as the St. Louis Browns defeated the
Cincinnati Red Stockings by the score of 10 to 4 at Sportsman's Park.

St. Louis brought 5 runs across the plate in the 7th inning with the help of 5
hits.  They ended up being the winning runs.  St. Louis had 17 hits for the
afternoon.  

The victory went to King(1-0) who went the distance allowing 4 runs. Mike
