Cleveland Stadium pulling it out in their last at bats, 3 to 2.
The deciding run was scored by Cleveland in the bottom of the 9th. Wally
Westlake ripped a one-base hit. Joe Collins followed next and he laid down a
sacrifice bunt. Dave Philley then delivered a base-hit. Chico Carrasquel
was up next and he hit a single giving Cleveland the victory and sending the
18,287 home-town fans home happy. Cleveland totaled 8 hits on the afternoon.
