Oscar Jones tossed a complete game as the Brooklyn Superbas defeated the
Philadelphia Phillies in 10 innings 5 to 4 at Washington Park.

The game was deadlocked at 4 after nine full innings.  Brooklyn ended up
winning it in the 10th inning.  Jimmy Sheckard drew a walk.  Sheckard was
running on the next pitch and he stole second.  Ed Householder then doubled
resulting in a mighty exciting win for Brooklyn and the 6,135 home town fans
in attendance.  Both teams totaled 10 hits on the afternoon.  

The win was credited to Jones(2-0) who went the whole way allowing 4 runs.
Warren McLaughlin(0-2) took the loss in relief.
