The Washington Nationals offense put up 6 runs on the scoreboard in the 9th
inning and cruised to a 9 to 2 victory over the St. Louis-AL Browns at
Sportsmans Park.

Eddie Cicotte(1-1) pitched a solid game.  He went 6 and 1/3 innings and
surrended up 8 hits and 1 walk reducing his ERA from 3.68 to 2.63.
Washington finished with 15 hits while St. Louis-AL ended up with 9.  

Jack Coombs earned his 1st save.  Ed Reulbach(0-3) was given the loss.  He
gave up 3 runs and 8 hits in 7 and 2/3 innings.
