Bob Lemon completed the game without help from the bullpen as the Cleveland
Indians bested the struggling Pittsburgh Pirates 4 to 2 at Cleveland
Stadium.

Cleveland delivered all the runs required in the 7th inning scoring 4 runners
on 4 hits.  The crucial at-bat was provided by Wally Westlake who came
through for the home fans when he doubled which was good for two runs.
Neither team was able to score until the 7th inning.  

Lemon(2-2) allowed 2 runs on the game. Bobby Hogue(0-1) was the losing pitcher
in relief.  Cleveland scored big getting 4 runs off him in 2 innings.
