Willie Keeler had 4 hits at Exposition Park as the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the
Cincinnati Reds in 10 innings by the count of 3 to 2.

Both teams were tied at 2 runs apiece after nine innings.  Pittsburgh won the
game in the 10th inning.  After an out was recorded, Keeler ripped a one-base
hit.  Sam Crawford followed next and he laced a single, and an error was also
committed.  Socks Seybold then banged out a single giving Pittsburgh the win
and sending the home town fans into a frenzy.  Pittsburgh had 10 hits for the
afternoon.  

Lefty Leifield(1-0) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 1 inning. The
losing pitcher was Noodles Hahn(2-1) in relief.  He was a hard-luck loser,
pitching 1 and 1/3 innings and not allowing an earned run.
