Babe Adams had a complete game as the Pittsburgh Pirates outscored the
ice-cold Cincinnati Reds 5 to 3.

Pittsburgh started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half of
the first scoring 3 runs on 5 base hits.  After an out was recorded, Tommy
Leach began the Pittsburgh spurt when he stroked a one-base hit.  After
another out, Honus Wagner stepped in and he tripled resulting in a run.  Dots
Miller then slapped a single driving in one more runner.  John Flynn came up
and he delivered a base-hit.  Vin Campbell came up to bat and delivered a
base-hit scoring the final run of the inning.  Pittsburgh had a total of 10
hits for the game.  

Adams(2-0) allowed 3 runs on the game. Fred Beebe(0-3) was the losing pitcher.
