Right fielder Farmer Weaver had 2 base hits and 2 RBI and Fritz Clausen
allowed Billy Barnie to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game as the
Louisville Colonels defeated the St. Louis Browns by a score of 13 to 12 at
Robison Field.

St. Louis found themselves trailing quickly as the Louisville bats came
through in the first inning when they came up with 3 runs on 2 hits.
Louisville rapped out 12 hits for the afternoon.  

The win was credited to Clausen(1-0) who went the whole way allowing 12 runs.
Bill Hawke(0-1) was the losing pitcher.  He was hit hard and gave up 10 hits
and 6 walks in 7 and 2/3 innings.
