Ed Andrews hit 3 doubles and had 2 RBI and Kid Gleason pitched a complete game
as the Philadelphia Quakers defeated the Washington Nationals by the score of
9 to 2 at Baseball Grounds.

Gleason(2-2) contributed a very nicely pitched game.  He allowed only 4 hits
and 4 walks in 9 innings.  Philadelphia rapped out 13 hits for the afternoon.

Ed Daily(1-1) suffered the loss.  Philadelphia scored big getting 9 runs off
