Willie Keeler had 3 base hits as the Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the St.
Louis-AL Browns by a score of 8 to 4 at Sportsman'S Park.

In the top of the 2nd inning Pittsburgh went on top for good plating an
isolated run.  Pittsburgh won despite being out-hit by St. Louis-AL 10 hits
to 7.  

The winning pitcher was Sam Leever(3-2) who allowed 2 runs in 7 and 2/3
innings. Harry Howell(1-2) took the loss.  Pittsburgh scored big getting 8
runs off him in 7 and 1/3 innings.
