In an embarrassing outing for the Chicago-NL Cubs pitching staff, Cleveland
Indians flexed their collective muscle amassing 11 runs as Murry
Dickson(2-3)with support from the bullpen surrendered 3 runs to
Chicago-NL.

Chicago-NL was unable to climb back into it after Cleveland went ahead for
good in the 2nd inning scoring one runner.  The Cleveland offense smacked the
Chicago-NL pitching staff around, scoring in 7 of the 9 innings.  

Cliff Chambers(3-2) was the loser.  He gave up 7 runs in 5 innings of work.
