Ralph Miller pitched a complete game at Union Park where the Baltimore Orioles
beat the Boston Beaneaters 11 to 7.

In the bottom of the 6th inning Baltimore went on top for good scoring 2 runs
utilizing 2 base hits.  Miller started the inning off right when he was hit
by a pitch.  John McGraw followed and he slapped a one-base hit.  Ducky
Holmes then laid down a sacrifice bunt.  Steve Brodie came up and he doubled
driving home two runs.  Baltimore rapped out 9 hits for the afternoon.

Miller(1-1) allowed 7 runs on the game. Kid Nichols(1-3) took the loss.
Baltimore knocked him around a bit, as he gave up 11 runs in 8 innings.
