Lefty Tyler pitched a complete game as the Boston Rustlers bested the
Philadelphia Phillies 3 to 2 at Baker Bowl.

Boston won the game with a run in the top of the 9th inning.  After an out was
recorded, Peaches Graham drew a walk.  Tyler stepped into the batter's box
and he laid down a sacrifice bunt.  Pete Alexander then threw a wild pitch.
Josh Clarke followed next and he slapped a one-base hit scoring the run.
Boston banged out 9 hits on the afternoon.  

The win was credited to Tyler(2-2) who went the whole way allowing 2 runs.
Alexander(3-1) was hit with the loss in relief.  He surrendered 3 hits and 1
walk in 3 innings.  

Wth the win Boston now has a record of 8-9. Philadelphia has a record of 11-5
after the loss.
