Fred Blanding went the distance as the Cleveland Naps bested the St. Louis
Browns 9 to 3 at Sportsman's Park.

Joe Birmingham had a big day against St. Louis.  He doubled which plated a run
in the 2nd inning, doubled knocking in a run in the 5th inning and doubled
bringing in two baserunners in the 6th inning.  Cleveland managed 14 hits in
their victory.  

Blanding(2-1), allowing 3 runs for the game, picked up the victory. Dwight
Stone(0-2) was given the loss.  He allowed a few too many baserunners giving
up 14 hits and 6 walks in 9 innings.
