Earl Hamilton completed the game without help from the bullpen and second
baseman Del Pratt left the yard and had 4 RBI as the St. Louis Browns
outscored the Chicago White Sox in 10 innings 5 to 2.

The game was deadlocked at 2 after nine full innings.  St. Louis was
victorious in the 10th inning.  After an out was recorded, Hamilton started
the attack as he doubled.  Burt Shotton stepped up to the plate and he drew a
walk.  Jimmy Austin was next to the plate, but was promptly struck out.
Pratt followed and he clubbed a three-run home run resulting in an exciting
win for St. Louis and a wild post-game celebration by the home town fans.
St. Louis and Chicago each finished the afternoon with 9 hits.

Hamilton(3-0) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 2 runs. Hi
Jasper(0-1) was given the loss in relief.  Wth the win St. Louis now has a
record of 6-8.  With the loss Chicago now has a record of 10-6.
