Howie Pollet came through with a solid 7 innings as the Cleveland Indians
destroyed the Cincinnati Reds by a score of 13 to 2 at Crosley Field.

The Cincinnati fans didn't appreciate the big day Eddie Joost had. He stroked
a one-base hit in the 1st inning, cracked a two-run shot in the 6th inning
and ripped a base-hit scoring two baserunners in the 7th inning. Cleveland
dominated offensively as they scored in 6 different innings.

Pollet(4-2) got the win allowing no runs in 7 innings. Johnny Schmitz(1-3)
took the loss. He had trouble throwing strikes and issued 10 walks in 7 and
2/3 innings.
