Jimmy Ryan had 3 base hits and 3 RBI and Bill Carrick was able to finish what
he started and was credited with a complete game as the Washington Senators
outscored the Philadelphia Athletics 8 to 2.

Washington claimed the early lead in the first inning scoring one runner
utilizing 2 base hits.  Washington rapped out 14 hits for the afternoon.

Carrick(2-0) lasted until the end allowing 2 runs for the win. Bert
Husting(1-1) was the loser.  He was knocked around by Washington, allowing 14
