Fred Dunlap had 5 hits and 4 RBI and Pud Galvin came through with a solid 9
innings as the Pittsburgh Alleghenys crushed the Indianapolis Hoosiers 15 to
0.

Dunlap provided much of the offense.  He doubled scoring a run in the 1st
inning, doubled bringing in a run in the 3rd inning, lashed a single in the
5th inning, doubled resulting in a run in the 6th inning and slapped a
base-hit which brought home a run in the 8th inning.  Pittsburgh kept the
scorekeepers busy in the 5th inning which saw them score 4 runs on 5 hits and
the 8th inning which saw them plate 5 runs on 5 hits.  Pittsburgh kept the
pressure on throughout the contest as they scored in 6 different innings.

Galvin(4-1) was credited with the shutout. Jim Whitney(0-2) was charged with
the loss.  He allowed Pittsburgh 15 runs in 9 innings of work.
