Harry Steinfeldt smacked 2 triples and had 4 RBI as the St. Louis-AL Browns
destroyed the Washington Senators by a score of 20 to 5 at American League
Park.

Steinfeldt was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he
provided much of the offense for the visitors. He tripled scoring a run in
the 1st inning, tripled bringing in two baserunners in the 2nd inning and
slapped a base-hit which brought home a run in the 3rd inning. St. Louis-AL
lit up the scoreboard in the 1st inning which saw them plate 10 runs on 8
hits, the 2nd inning which saw them score 5 runs on 5 hits and the 3rd inning
when they had 5 runs on 4 hits. Overall St. Louis-AL out-hit Washington 19
to 13.

The winning pitcher was Tully Sparks(3-4) who allowed 4 runs in 6 innings.
Harry Howell gained credit for his 5th save. Pop Williams(2-1) ended up with
the loss. He allowed 17 hits and 4 walks in 3 innings.
