Sid Hudson(2-2) and Joe Dobson(3-2) treated the Philadelphia-NL fans to a fine
pitching duel at Shibe Park.  The Chicago-NL Cubs eventually emerged as
victors over the Philadelphia-NL Phillies by the score of 2 to 0.

Hudson contributed a very nicely pitched game.  He didn't allow much, just 6
hits and no walks in 8 innings lowering his ERA to 2.25.  Hudson got relief
help from Eddie Yuhas who was excellent in relief and gained credit for his
3rd save.
