Ed Killian was able to finish what he started and was credited with a complete
game as the Detroit Tigers bested the St. Louis Browns 6 to 3 at Sportsman'S
Park.

Detroit won the game with a rally in the 8th inning plating 3 runs utilizing 3
base hits.  Sam Crawford led off and keyed the rally when he tripled.  Cy
Morgan then was wild with a pitch which plated a run.  Bill Coughlin then
doubled.  Charlie Hickman was next to the plate, but was promptly struck out.
One out later, Lew Drill stepped in and he was walked intentionally.
Killian added his contribution to the rally and tripled which accounted for
two additional runs.  The St. Louis bats were silent in the bottom of the
9th.  

Killian(3-1) finished the game allowing 3 runs in the victory. Morgan(0-2) was
given the loss.  He allowed a few too many baserunners giving up 12 hits and
2 walks in 8 innings.
