topped the New York-NL Giants by a score of 9 to 7 at Polo
Grounds.

from Buck O'Brien who pitched great and earned his 4th save.
The loss was charged to Bill Burns(0-1) in relief. Philadelphia-AL knocked
him around a bit, as he gave up 3 runs in 2 innings.
