Catcher Fred Jacklitsch had 2 base hits and Kaiser Wilhelm went the distance
as the Baltimore Terrapins defeated the St. Louis Terriers in 10 innings by a
score of 3 to 2 at Handlan's Park.

Both teams were tied at 2 runs apiece after nine innings.  Finally, Baltimore
prevailed in the 10th inning.  Jacklitsch banged out a single.  After an out
was recorded, Benny Meyer came to the plate and doubled scoring the run.
Baltimore had 8 hits for the afternoon.  

Wilhelm(2-2) got the victory, allowing 2 runs for the game. Ernie Herbert(0-1)
took the loss in relief.  With this win, Baltimore has a 8-6 record.  They
have been 5-5 lately.  Not able to get much going in recent weeks, St. Louis
is 1-9 of late and now has an overall record of 2-15, worst in the league.
