Elmer Flick had 2 base hits and 2 RBI and Chick Fraser had a complete game at
Baker Bowl as the Philadelphia Phillies staged a comeback win over the
Baltimore Orioles by the count of 5 to 4.

Philadelphia came through with the game-winning runs in the bottom of the 9th
inning scoring 2 runs on 2 base hits.  Duff Cooley started the inning off
right when he reached on an error.  Roy Thomas came next and he ripped a
base-hit resulting in a run.  Ed Delahanty then ripped a one-base hit.
Delahanty took second on the throw.  Nap Lajoie followed and he would hit
into a fielders choice making Philadelphia victorious to the delight of the
the home town crowd.  Philadelphia banged out 9 hits on the afternoon.

Fraser(3-2) was the winner allowing 4 runs for the game. Harry Howell(1-1) was
given the loss in relief.  'What a win!', Fraser said.  'These are the kind
of games that stand out in your mind at the end of a season.'
