TEAM RISP- Yankees: 4 for 13 Pirates: 2 for 10

Del Ennis connected with a 'big fly' and had 3 RBI and Mel Parnell allowed
Robert Baker to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game as the New York
Yankees outscored the struggling Pittsburgh Pirates 10 to 2.

New York claimed the early lead in the first inning as they scored 3 runs on 3
base hits. That early scoring was all that Parnell(5-1) needed. New York
rapped out 15 hits for the afternoon.

Eddie Lopat(1-3) was the losing pitcher. He was knocked around, surrendering
9 runs in 6 innings. No one has been able to stop New York lately as they
lengthened their winning streak to 6 games.
