Catcher Jack Warner hit 2 doubles and had 5 RBI and Jim Sullivan had a
complete game as the Boston Beaneaters beat the St. Louis Browns by a score
of 15 to 7.

Warner led the offense for Boston.  He ripped a one-base hit resulting in a
run in the 2nd inning, doubled bringing in two baserunners in the 7th inning
and doubled knocking in a run in the 9th inning.  Boston bats were very
productive in the 6th inning with 8 runs on 7 hits.  Boston had a total of 19
hits for the game.  

The winning pitcher was Sullivan(1-0) who allowed 7 runs for the game. Red
Ehret(1-6) ended up with the loss.  He was touched for 16 hits and 4 walks in
6 and 2/3 innings.
