Fred Snodgrass had 3 base hits as the Philadelphia-NL Phillies topped the St. Louis-AL Browns by a score of 6 to 5 at Sportsman'S Park. Philadelphia-NL scored the winning runs in the top of the 8th inning plating 2 runs using 2 hits. Snodgrass started the inning off right when he banged out a single.
