Monty Kennedy pitched a complete game at Crosley Field as the Cincinnati Reds
embarrassed the Washington Nationals by the lopsided score of 12 to
1.

Kennedy(2-3) looked very much in control throughout the day.  He allowed just
4 hits and 5 walks in 9 innings lowering his ERA from 3.47 to 2.98.
Cincinnati banged out 14 hits on the afternoon.  

Bob Feller(2-3) ended up with the loss.  He allowed 11 hits and 6 walks in 7
innings.  Wth the win Cincinnati now has a record of 16-13.  With the loss,
the Washington ballclub's record is 12-13.
