George Zettlein had an impressive outing and Jimmy Wood had 3 base hits and 3
RBI as the Troy Haymakers ballclub embarrassed the Washington O Olympics by
the count of 16 to 4.

Zettlein(5-1) was on top of his game.  He allowed just 5 hits and no walks in
9 innings seeing his ERA drop from 1.20 to 1.00.  Troy provided plenty of
action in the 5th inning when they had 4 runs on 4 hits and the 8th inning
with 5 runs on 3 hits.  Troy dominated offensively as they scored in 6
different innings.  

The losing pitcher was Asa Brainard(0-5).  He was not very effective,
surrendering 16 runs in 9 innings.
