TEAM RISP- Hoosiers: 9 for 23 Spiders: 11 for 19

Jim Whitney pitched a complete game and Jack Glasscock had 3 base hits and 4
RBI at League Park as the Indianapolis Hoosiers came back dramatically to top
the Cleveland Spiders by the score of 15 to 12.

Indianapolis came up with the deciding runs in the top of the 9th inning when
they came up with 5 runs on 5 hits. The biggest moment was provided by Jack
McGeachey who silenced the crowd when he singled scoring two baserunners.
Indianapolis lit up the scoreboard in the 9th inning which saw them score 5
runs on 5 hits. The score went back-and-forth with the lead changing 5
times.

Whitney(1-2) was the winner allowing 12 runs for the game. Cinders
O'Brien(2-2) was given the loss. He got hammered, allowing 17 hits and 4
walks in 9 innings.

Frank Bancroft was feeling mighty fine as he answered questions in his office
after the game, 'Now that was one fine ending! Did you see how the crowd just
sat there in silence after the winning run scored? Here we are celebrating
wildly, and the stadium is cloaked in virtual silence. Weird. but GREAT!'
