At Boundary Field the Washington Senators were battered 10 to 4 by the
Philadelphia Phillies.

Davey Dunkle(2-1) had a steady outing.  He allowed 10 hits and 3 walks in 7
and 1/3 innings.  Philadelphia finished with 14 hits while Washington ended
up with 10.  

Win Mercer(2-2) was hit with the loss.  He was unable to control the
Philadelphia offense and allowed 13 hits and 4 walks in 7 and 2/3 innings.

Wth the win Philadelphia now has a record of 8-5.  Still in a bad slump, with
this loss, Washington is 2-8 lately and 4-11 on the year.
