Vic Willis pitched a complete game as the New York-NL Giants man-handled the
Pittsburgh Pirates - the final score was 15 to 2.

Pittsburgh was unable to claim the lead after New York-NL went ahead in the
bottom of the 2nd inning when they scored 3 runs on 4 hits.  That early run
support was enough for Willis(2-5) and New York-NL.  New York-NL lit up the
scoreboard in the 3rd inning which saw them plate 6 runs on 4 hits and the
8th inning which saw them score 6 runs on 5 hits.  New York-NL rapped out 16
hits for the afternoon.  

Luther Taylor(0-3) absorbed the loss.  He allowed 8 hits and 3 walks in 2 and
1/3 innings.  The winning ways continue for New York-NL.  They now have a
record of 8-2 in recent days.  With the loss, Pittsburgh has a record of 3-7
