Nap Rucker went the distance and Honus Wagner had 2 base hits and 2 RBI at
Polo Grounds as the New York-NL Giants beat the Brooklyn Dodgers by the count
of 4 to 2.

New York-NL did all the necessary damage in the 8th inning scoring 4 runners
on 3 hits.  The biggest moment was provided by Wagner who made the New
York-NL fans a happy lot when he slapped a single plating two runs.  New
York-NL rapped out 10 hits for the afternoon.  

Rucker(4-4) was the winner allowing 2 runs for the game. George Suggs(2-4) was
the loser.  He pitched 7 innings giving up 9 hits and 2 walks.
