Sam Crawford hit one over the fence and had 3 RBI and Mal Eason threw a 6
hitter at League Park as the Detroit Tigers beat the Cleveland Naps in 12
innings 5 to 4.

The score was tied at 4 after nine.  Detroit won it in the 12th inning.  After
an out was recorded, Kid Elberfeld laced a single.  Elberfeld was running on
the next pitch and he stole second.  Crawford then hit a single scoring the
run.  Detroit had a total of 13 hits for the game.  

Eason(3-0) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 4 runs. Earl
Moore(0-3) was given the loss.  He allowed 5 runs and 13 hits in 12 innings.
