Herb Goodall was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game and Chicken Wolf had 2 base hits as the Louisville Colonels
defeated the Columbus Solons 4 to 2 at Recreation Park.

Louisville came up with 2 runs in the top of the 4th inning when they had 3
base hits.  They ended up being the winning runs.  Columbus threatened in the
9th but their rally came up short.  

The winning pitcher was Goodall(3-0) who allowed 2 runs for the game. Hank
Gastright(4-5) was tagged with the loss.  He pitched 9 innings and
surrendered 8 hits and 3 walks.
