Doggie Miller had 4 hits and 2 RBI as the St. Louis Browns outscored the
Philadelphia Phillies in 10 innings 12 to 11.

Both teams had scored 11 runs after nine full innings.  Finally, St. Louis
pulled the game out in the 10th inning.  Roger Connor doubled.  Ernie Beam
then unleashed a wild pitch.  Beam then let one slip out of his hand for a
wild pitch resulting in an exciting win for St. Louis and a wild post-game
celebration by the home town fans.  This was a game of many highs and lows
for the home town fans, as the lead kept changing - 5 times in all.  

Harry Staley(2-2) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 1 inning.
Beam(0-1) took the loss in relief.  He surrendered 1 run and 2 hits in 1/3 of
an inning.
