Right fielder Elmer Flick had 4 hits and 3 RBI as the smoking-hot Cleveland
Naps bested the New York Highlanders 8 to 3 at Hilltop Park.

Flick enjoyed a big day at the plate.  He delivered a single which brought
home a run in the 1st inning, tripled in the 4th inning, tripled knocking in
a run in the 8th inning and laced a base-hit resulting in a run in the 9th
inning.  Cleveland had 15 hits for the afternoon while New York had 11.

The win was credited to Bill Bernhard(6-0) who went 8 innings allowing 3 runs.
Long Tom Hughes(1-5) was the losing pitcher.  He allowed 12 hits and 1 walk
in 7 and 2/3 innings.
