The Pittsburgh Pirates had very little trouble at Palace Of The Fans downing
the Cincinnati Reds.  The score was 11 to 5.

Pittsburgh came up with 5 runs in the top of the 4th inning with the help of 5
hits.  The crucial at-bat was provided by Willie Keeler who quieted the crowd
when he clubbed a two-run home run.  Pittsburgh had 15 hits overall, while
Cincinnati had 8.  

Nick Altrock(4-3) allowed 5 runs in 7 and 2/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Christy Mathewson(5-7) was the loser.  He got hit pretty hard,
allowing 9 hits and 3 walks in 5 innings.
